Lip Augmentation

There are two types of Lip Augmentation treatments depending on the end result you would like to achieve:

  • Lip Rejuvenation works by treating fine lines and wrinkles around your mouth, sad mouth (drooping corners). It also assists with re-defining your lip shape or contour. Lip Rejuvenation provides hydration to dry, aged lips and can also help prevent cold sores from forming. This treatment does not over plump lips; it is focused on rejuvenating and restoring your natural shape.
  • Lip Enhancement is focused on plumping up your lips and creating that ‘perfect pout’. Through specialised injecting techniques we can create a more symmetrical, defined appearance and soft, voluminous lips.
How does Lip Augmentation work?
Lip Augmentation is performed using Dermal Fillers, which are injected into your lips to plump, hydrate or define them.
What does a Lip Augmentation treatment involve?
An initial consultation is required whereby you will be able to address your concerns and desired results. Once your treatment plan has been determined a local anesthetic is applied to the treatment area to ensure minimal pain and discomfort. Dr Nicola will then proceed to inject the filler to enhance the volume shape or hydration of your lips. The overall appointment can generally last up to 45 minutes.
What will I look like after the treatment?
In some cases there can be some localised pain, bruising, swelling and redness but this is limited to the treatment area.
How long do results last?
The results usually last from 6 months to 8 months and can be well maintained through follow up treatments.
